Join us as we Zoom ‘live’ from the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with Vancouver’s very own Track and Field athlete Lucas Bruchet, competing this year in the 5,000 meter event. Hear about Lucas’ personal experience driving for excellence as he competed as early as 2009 as a young athlete at the Junior Pan American Championships, clinched his first-ever Olympic debut at Rio 2016, and bouncing back from injury and stress fractures that nearly took him out of sport all together. Lucas will share his views of these pandemic Games from an athletes perspective, and how perseverance and resilience has been a catalyst to success, representing Canada on the world stage.
